Although the design has evolved over the years, the Alpina ski boot even looks like a new idea. At first glances pretty close what you'd expect from a high-end hiking boot rather than a ski boot, and there are plenty of reasons for that. After all, regular boots are a whole lot lighter and more comfortable, so why shouldn't XC ski boots use some of the same ideas? This produce meshes old-fashioned practicality with modern ideas about design and materials. |
