Five End of Season Specials

By: Levi Opsatnic

If you haven’t browsed our website or been into our shop lately, you may not know that we’ve marked quite a few of our spring products to 40% off, as well as marked a few older products to a bit cheaper than 40% off. Not only is this a great time for everyone to catch one heck of a deal, but it also gives us a chance to begin welcoming our new fall products into the shop. Sure, we’re still in the summer season, but it shouldn’t come as a surprise that we all get very excited about new products and new technology.

Being that we’re trying to take the “out with the old, in with the new” approach to fall merchandise, I’ve decided to compile a list of sale items that are sure to keep everyone happy. But I won’t stop there; later on this week, I’ll post a list of new fall items that are sure to excite everyone about the upcoming fall season.

Volcom Women’s Casco Down Puff Puff Jacket

Down is certainly one of the best insulators; it offers incredible packabilty and excellent heat retention. For reasons like this, Volcom’s Casco Down Puff Puff Jacket is a real steal at only a hundred bucks. This jacket blends a weather resistant exterior with a 600 fill insulation and a very pleasing look. Not only does this jacket add style and warmth to a cold day, but it also stuffs into a stuff sack that doubles as a neck pillow, making it one of the best travel companions out there.

Marmot Women’s Minimalist JacketC:\Users\web\Desktop\Image 2.jpg

Don’t let its seemingly simple name fool you because Marmot’s Minimalist Jacket is far from “minimal.” Sporting a GORE-TEX Paclite construction, this jacket offers supreme waterproofing, windproofing, and breathability. Tack on some additional features such as pit zips and a couple of zipper hand pockets, and you’ll see how this jacket is your go-to rainy day piece. A bonus suggestion is to pair this jacket with Volcom’s Casco Down Jacket for a really solid winter layering system.

Whether you’re hiking, biking, running, or just ambling through the day, a hydration pack is a great choice. They provide hands-free hydration and also offer some convenient storage, which is why Camelbak’s Lobo Hydration Pack has been a shop staple for quite some time. An ability to store 3 liters of water allows you to sip at your leisure all day long, while things like a magnetic tube trap and zippered pockets give you all of the ease that you need.

The North Face Men’s Denali SE Leather Gloves

The only thing better than welcoming the first cold day of the season with a brand new pair of gloves is knowing that you bought those gloves for about half of their price, luckily, The North Face’s Denali SE Leather Gloves ring in at right about 50% off of their original price. These gloves are sure to keep your hands calm and toasty thanks to their durable cowhide leather palm, high-pile wool insulation, and comfy 5-dimensional fit. Whether you’re helping your little one build their first snowman or taking a post-Christmas hike, the Denali SE Gloves will keep your hands singing songs of joy.

Stripes are one of those things that just won’t ever go out of style, and a beanie is a hat that you’ll fall back on all winter long, which is why Outdoor Research’s Gradient Hat is an awesome buy at half of its original price. Made entirely from wool, this beanie offers all of the heat that you need, while its timeless look works just about anywhere that you’re headed.
