 Instruction
Fly Fishing School at Allenberry Resort: The school is located on central Pennsylvania’s best limestone trout stream in a no kill area of the Yellow Breeches Creek. The weekend package will include:
- Professional instruction by nationally recognized instructors: Joe Humphreys and Ed Shenk
- Two nights lodging in our 18th Century Estate
- Hearty country breakfasts, Lunches and buffet or a la carte dinners
- All taxes and gratuities included
Professional Instruction to include:
- Slide presentations on casting and entomology
- Observing and analyzing stream conditions including water temp and feeding behavior
- Individual casting instruction
- Techniques and tactics with nymphs, wet flies, dry flies and streamers
- On-stream fishing
- Leader construction and knots
Bring your family! Allenberry has tennis, swimming and professional summer stock theatre. Rates are available for non participants in the school.
Space Is Limited, So Make Your Reservations Early. Please return with $100 per person deposit. Your deposit is
refundable with 14 day cancellation or upon Allenberry’s unforeseen cancellation of the weekend.
