Bern was founded by Dennis Leedom in July 2004. Dennis is an avid skier, biker, snowboarder, and skateboarder; all of these activities have one thing in common and that's the potential for head injury. Dennis noticed this issue and Bern was born out of a dedication to spread awareness of this and curb the problem at the same time. At the time, Dennis found another complication, which was a result of him cycling through different helmets for different activities. He wanted Bern to be able to provide extreme sports enthusiasts with a universal helmet that serves all of their needs. Today, Bern is one of the leading helmet producers for a range of activities, and whether you need something to hit the slopes, dirt, or concrete, they're sure to have something for you.
