Montrail
Montrail has been keeping feet happy and comfortable since the company started in 1982 under the original name of "One Sport." One Sport made quality footwear and operated under that name for a little over a decade, but in 1997, the company rebranded themselves and began to go by the name most of us are familiar with, "Montrail." After launching as Montrail, the company released a slew of popular innovations like the first "softshell" shoe, stretchable GORE-TEX in footwear, and a super grippy sole titled "Gryptonite." Montrail gained more and more popularity as the years passed, and in 2006, they were brought under Columbia Sportswear's umbrella as one of their brands. Montrail remains under Columbia and continues to make some of the best shoe companies on the market for a range of activities from hiking to trail running and every bit of outdoor action in between.
