Our Heavyweight Mountaineering Socks are tightly knit from a blend of fibers: chlorine-free merino wool (75%) that’s soft and itch-free, providing warmth and long-lasting cushioning; nylon and polyester balance durability and moisture-wicking performance. The soft, felted wool cushions and insulates both the top and bottom of the foot. The felted cushioning lasts the lifetime of the socks. The arch band and welt provide full-day support without constricting or sloughing into boots. Looped Lintoe® construction creates the flattest seam possible for nonchafing comfort.
