Women's hiking sandals are a refreshing warm-weather alternative to boots and fully enclosed shoes. They can offer padded, contoured footbeds and grippy soles just as well as a shoe can. Hot and sweaty feet can be a thing of the past and if you want to splash through a creek or two, a hiking sandal will dry off very quickly. Light weight and compact construction also make sandals ideal for carrying on multi-day hikes. At the end of the day you can take your boots off and let your feet dry out. This will not only feel great but also reduce your chances of developing blisters on the second and third days. They'll save you from having to put damp boots back on after a shower and give you the freedom to roam around the campsite without worrying about stubbing your toe on a tent peg or treading on something sharp.
