This jacket is made of 65% merino wool and 36% nylon. But, the PhD HyFi is smart (hence the PhD) and the wool is next to your skin so that you can benefit from the natural insulating properties of merino wool while the nylon is on the face of the jacket to make it tougher.

PRODUCT FEATURES:

  • Bi-component construction places wool next to the skin to maintain moisture-wicking, heat-regulating comfort; nylon face increases resilience and abrasion resistance

  • Full-length zipper is slightly offset at chin for more ergonomic use and increased comfort; draft flap backs zipper to keep out chilling wind

  • Articulated hood and elbows are shaped to follow the contours of the head and arms for increased comfort and freedom of movement
