Originally from Portland, Oregon, Brett has been working in the field of Experiential Education for almost 20 years.  His full time job is the Executive Director of a leadership development program, called Quest, based at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Quest serves state system students along with the greater community throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

 Quest has been in operation since the early 70’s and has almost 40 years of outstanding reputation in the region. Quest offers exciting, educational courses, mostly at the beginner and intermediate level, in Pennsylvania, the United States, Africa, South and Central America and Europe. People of all ages and backgrounds participate. Quest programs range from team development for community groups and high school faculties to strategic planning for corporations to rock climbing and caving for schools and scout groups.

 Brett has led expeditions in Peru, Mexico, Ethiopia, Costa Rica and Ecuador taking in their breathtaking beauty, rich culture and diverse outdoor activities. He has traveled, biked, climbed, paddled, and backpacked extensively throughout the United States and Canada. In addition to his job with Quest Pro, Brett runs a photography business and also works for the Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI) of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) teaching wilderness medicine courses.
