Mistaken Monday: Five Reasons to come to Pint Nite

By: Levi Opsatnic

As you may or may not know, Appalachian Outdoors will be hosting a Pint Nite this coming Wednesday; and we expect it to be a real doozy. This event is one that’s been in the making for a bit now, and I’m more than excited to see it pan out. Whether you’re a beer enthusiast, someone who loves to donate to local charity, a social butterfly, or a lover of Osprey products, Pint Nite will have something just for you. If all of those aspects of Pint Nite aren’t enough to get you all jazzed up, then here are five reasons why you should definitely clear up your schedule this Wednesday night and spend it with the Appalachian Outdoors crew.

1. Awesome Pint Glasses and Free Goodies

Awesome Pint Glasses and Free Goodies

We paired up with some of the coolest companies in the business to give the first 100 guests a pint glass that they won’t soon forget. All that you have to do is make a ten dollar donation to ClearWater Conservancy and the deadly combo of a cool Klean Kanteen with logos from Osprey and Appalachian Outdoors and an Osprey swag bag is all yours. So get there before 6:00 PM so you can be sure that you can add this pint to your collection, but don’t worry there will be other free stuff for those of us who like to show up fashionably late.

2. Beer, Snacks, and Refreshments

Okay, so you just got a really sweet pint, and what better way to test it out than with some free beer from State College’s own Happy Valley Brewing Company? I personally can’t think of a better way, but am certainly open to suggestions. And after you drive a beer (or other refreshment if you’re under twenty-one) into your belly, we’ll have a spread of snacks for you to enjoy before you call it a night.

3. Osprey Giveaways

For the two lucky visitors who found a four-leaf clover on their way in, we have an Osprey Talon 33 Pack awaiting your arrival. Yep, you read it right, we’ll be giving away not one, but two of these packs that are the perfect way to help you take advantage of the warm weather.

4. Hangout with Reps

We’ll have our Osprey and ClearWater Conservancy reps here to answer any burning questions that you may have. From answering questions about their new, groundbreaking technology  like the Osprey Packs Atmos AG and the Aura AG to getting fitted for the pack that’s just right for you this summer, you can count on our Osprey Representative to do it all. But that’s not all, as our ClearWater Conservancy will be doing a presentation discussing their latest plans to clean up Pennsylvania’s streams.
