Started by a few long-time footwear-industry employees in 2007 who sought a change in practices, Oboz was started in 2007 out of Bozeman, Montana ("Outside + Bozeman = Oboz") with the intention of providing quality footwear while restoring our planet. Partnering with Trees for the Future, Oboz plants one tree for every shoe that they sell; however, Oboz's generosity and conscious business practices don't stop there as they also partner with Project Sole to donate their "unsellable" shoes, offset their carbon emission, and power their HQ by wind. While Oboz works to help our environment, they've also been able to design and manufacture quality shoes for a diverse range of conditions and activities. And whether you're grabbing a boot to carry you thousands of miles or just something to walk around town, each of Oboz's shoes is worked on by 140 different employees to ensure that your shoes are crafted to the highest caliber. So the next time you're gearing up for adventure, let Oboz lead the path.
