Shipping

Appalachian Outdoors currently only ships to the United States and Canada. Orders are typically shipped within one to two business days. Our major carrier is the United Parcel Service (UPS). We can also ship through other carriers including U.S. Postal Service and FedEx. Shipping oversize and heavy items such as skis and roof racks will require an extra shipping charge added to the standard shipping. The extra shipping charge for these items will be explained in the item's description. We cannot ship to Hotels/Motels due to potential delays in shipping that are out of our control

Canada Shipping Exclusions

Due to contracts with the following brands, we are unable to ship any of their products outside of the U.S. Unfortunately, if you attempt to order one of these brands and have it shipped outside the US, we will contact you and cancel the order. We want you to be more than just satisfied with your purchase; therefore, any returns, exchanges, refunds and warranty issues will be handled efficiently. If you buy something from us and find that it does not fully suit your needs, we are happy to return or exchange your purchase for another item, size, or color. Carefully package your return item(s) so that they will not be damaged in transit. Include all of the original packaging and your completed return form from the back of your invoice.

Climbing Equipment Policy

At Appalachian Outdoors we are committed to providing you with the highest quality climbing equipment. Therefore, we do not sell any used, second-hand climbing or load-bearing equipment including, but not limited to ropes, lead protection, carabineers, harnesses, crash-pads, helmets, belay devices, ice axes, or crampons. We are not able to send these items back to the manufacturer unless there is a warranty issue. Consequently, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on climbing equipment regardless of its condition or purchase date. This policy is in place for your safety so that you will only receive new equipment, unexposed to the stresses of use or the environment.
